Alanna holds a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, she dedicated her career to special education, in both private and public school boards. Currently, Alanna serves as an educator at Spark Educational Services, implementing specialized direct instruction programming in reading and writing.

Alanna brings a contemporary outlook on children's well-being, drawn from her experience in present-day schools. At the core of her philosophy is a commitment to providing children with the indispensable tools and resources required to unlock their full potential. She is dedicated to establishing profound and meaningful connections with each child she encounters.

Alanna's exploration into children's mental health is enriched by her artistic background, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ontario College of Art and Design University. Her art practice is concentrated on understanding and addressing the psychological needs of children. In various settings, she devoted her time to working with children through art, emphasizing the crucial role of creativity and self-expression in their development.
