Cheryl Anderson, M.H.Sc., R.D. (She/Her)
Cheryl is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University. As a family health dietitian, Cheryl is passionate about supporting children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, and ARFID (avoidant or restrictive food intake disorder) to manage feeding and nutrition challenges using an inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Cheryl's journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian was sparked by her personal experience as a mom of two children with feeding difficulties. Faced with a deluge of conflicting nutrition information online, she realized the need to translate complex nutrition science into practical advice for families. Cheryl has additional training in food security, pediatric nutrition, strengthening interoception awareness, and supporting individuals with eating disorders (practice is supervised by Shawna Melbourn, RD, CEDS-C).
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dogs, and recipe testing.
