Sara Rumble, BSW, MSW, RSW (She/Her)
Sara is a compassionate, client-centered social worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Mental Health and Health. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from York University and a degree in Criminology from the University of Western Ontario. Sara brings both academic knowledge and practical experience to her work.
Sara’s background includes working at the Hospital for Sick Children, where she supported children and families through some of the most challenging times of their lives.
At Flourish, Sara supports individuals across the lifespan, providing care to children, youth, parents, and families as they navigate mental health and health-related challenges. She has experience working with children facing a wide range of concerns, including grief, anxiety, depression, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), autism, ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, and self-harm or suicidal ideation.
Sara’s therapeutic approach is strengths-based and collaborative, grounded in the belief that change is possible-but often difficult to face alone. She draws on evidence-based practices, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide personalized, compassionate care that meets each client’s unique needs.
