Ayelet Ary, M.Sc., C. Psych. Assoc. (She/Her)
Ayelet is a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She provides psychological assessment services to children and adolescents with diverse learning, neurodevelopmental, attentional, and social-emotional profiles. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice, neurodiversity-affirming care, and a strengths-based perspective.
Ayelet believes that assessment should help children, adolescents, and their families better understand the unique ways they learn, think, communicate, and experience the world. She strives to create an assessment experience in which young people feel comfortable being themselves and families feel heard, respected, and actively involved. Her goal is to highlight each young person’s strengths, clarify the barriers they may be experiencing, and provide practical, individualized recommendations that are meaningful at home, at school, and in everyday life.
Ayelet completed her Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2018. She has completed additional training in psychological assessment, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, brief digital interventions, and other evidence-based approaches that inform her work with children, adolescents, and families.
Prior to working in private practice, Ayelet worked as a psychoeducational consultant within a school board, where she provided assessment and consultation services to school-aged children and collaborated closely with educators and families to support students with diverse learning, developmental, and mental health needs. This experience continues to shape her collaborative approach and her understanding of how recommendations can be translated into meaningful support within the classroom.
Outside of work, Ayelet enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, discovering new music, practising yoga, hiking, travelling, vintage thrifting, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
