Samantha Williams, BA (She/Her)
Samantha Williams is a Specialized Honours Psychology graduate from York University with a passion for child development and educational psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research at York University examining how socioeconomic status and early-life stress influence children’s academic outcomes. After graduating, she continued her research at OISE (University of Toronto), contributing to projects exploring how children learn and reason. These experiences deepened her interest in the factors that support children’s learning and overall well-being.
Beyond research, Samantha has hands-on experience working with children and youth in educational and community settings. She has served as a camp counsellor, classroom assistant, and community outreach team member, supporting children from diverse backgrounds through mentorship, academic guidance, and social-emotional support. These roles strengthened her commitment to creating environments where young people feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
At Flourish Health Services, Samantha plays a role in ensuring families have a smooth and supportive assessment experience while helping clinicians deliver high-quality care. Her contributions help the team work efficiently and thoughtfully, so every family feels guided and supported throughout the process.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys volunteering, embroidery, journaling, and spending time with her dog.
