Samara Hamilton, H.B.A. (She/Her)

Samara recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After four years of study, she developed a strong interest in child development, the influence of nature and nurture on behaviour and mental health, and social work.

Samara has worked as an Early Childhood Educator assistant for the past two summers, where she developed a strong passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment for children. She believes in creating spaces where children feel comfortable being themselves, communicating, playing, and simply feeling good at the end of each day. Through using individual support plans and observing different behaviours, Samara’s main goal has always been to make each child along with their caregivers feel seen, wanted, and emotionally and socially supported.

Samara is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young clients and their families by helping things run smoothly and contributing to a calm, safe, and welcoming environment.

In her free time, Samara enjoys listening to music, watching movies and reality TV, lifting weights, drawing, and spending time with those closest to her.
