Exceptional Passion Projects Incubator
Executive Functioning and Enrichment Group for Gifted and Twice-Exceptional Youth
What would you create if someone gave you the time, support, and freedom to pursue what fascinates you most?
The Exceptional Passion Projects Incubator is a unique enrichment program for gifted, twice-exceptional, and highly curious youth who are ready to turn their ideas into reality. Designed for children who think deeply, ask big questions, and become intensely engaged in their interests, this program provides the mentorship, structure, and peer community needed to transform passion into action.
Many gifted and twice-exceptional children have extraordinary ideas but struggle with planning, organization, perfectionism, task initiation, flexibility, or follow-through. This psychologist-led program helps participants develop executive functioning skills through the pursuit of a personally meaningful passion project.
Each participant will identify a project based on an area of genuine interest and spend the fall developing it from concept to completion. Projects may be academic, creative, entrepreneurial, scientific, technological, artistic, community-focused, or entirely unique to the participant's interests.
Participants will receive support with goal setting, project planning, organization, time management, task initiation, follow-through, managing perfectionism, cognitive flexibility, problem solving, research, communication, presentation skills, self-advocacy, and peer feedback.
The program concludes with a Passion Project Showcase, where participants will have the opportunity to share their work and celebrate their accomplishments with family and friends.
This group is ideal for gifted and twice-exceptional youth who have big ideas, strong interests, and creative potential, but who would benefit from support turning inspiration into action.
